KIHON DOJO B9
KIHON means foundation. Technical foundation, disciplinary foundation and moral foundation. The academy was built on solid fundamentals, structured methodology and respect for hierarchy.
For 18 years forming people through Jiu-Jitsu, KIHON has established itself as the largest network of Jiu-Jitsu academies in the Greater ABC region of São Paulo.
DNA and lineage
KIHON is built within the technical foundation of Team B9, maintaining its lineage, methodology and disciplinary standards. The work is guided by clear hierarchy, structured progression and responsibility in the development of students and instructors.

Right frame: 精力善用 (Seiryoku Zen’yō) — Maximum efficiency in the use of energy. Applying technique, intelligence and strategy above brute strength.
Together, these principles represent the balance between individual efficiency and collective responsibility — a philosophical foundation of Japanese martial arts and a cultural cornerstone of the dojo.
Method
Technical training organized by categories and objectives. Each class follows its own methodology and structured progression.
Focus on fundamentals before performance. Technique comes before belt. The foundation sustains evolution.
Disciplinary formation based on respect, posture and conduct both inside and outside the mat.
Classes for children, youth, women and adults while maintaining a unified technical standard.
Technical standard
KIHON is among the pioneering academies in standardizing the white kimono as a visual and cultural identity. White represents uniformity, discipline and equality on the mat.
The standard is not aesthetic. It is cultural. It is structure. It is order.
Structure and expansion
More than 20 affiliated academies. More than 60 black belts developed. More than 6,000 classes delivered throughout its history.
Expansion has been built with responsibility, maintaining the technical foundation as the central element of every unit.
Philosophy
KIHON is not just an academy. It is a culture of continuous development. Jiu-Jitsu is treated as a tool for building character, discipline and human development.
