Children can usually start around 4 or 5 years old, when they are able to understand basic instructions and develop coordination.

Yes. Classes are conducted with a kimono. At Kihon Academy we use a standardized white kimono. To ensure the correct model used in training, it is recommended to purchase the kimono directly from the sensei at the academy.
